The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamill shoots in for a takedown but Davis shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Ronnie Hamill will probably get the nod.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Davis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hamill tries to avoid it but Davis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hamill to the ground. Hamill escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well Davis has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
