Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oliver Twist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mel Turd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mel Turd has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Oliver Twist!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mel Turd!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Twist defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Turd.
Twist takes a swing at Turd's ribcage but misses.
Turd throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Twist fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Turd manages to avoid it.
Turd lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Turd.

and Turd counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Twist!
Turd looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Twist is avoiding damage well.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Twist gets back to half guard.
Turd landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Turd is pressing down on Twist's thigh, looking to free his foot. Twist is holding on for now.

Twist wants to improve his position but Turd is controlling well.
Turd missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Twist is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Twist is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Turd scores with a couple of nice shots.
Turd wants to pass the guard but Twist is defending well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Turd is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Twist doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Turd.

Turd postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Twist is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Turd, into his guard.

Twist stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Turd swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Twist trying to control but Turd is working from the bottom.
Turd looking to hit a scissor sweep but Twist is one step ahead there.

Turd throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Twist escapes and throws Turd's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Twist tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Twist wants to control but Turd is keeping him busy.
Turd wants to control but Twist postures up.
Turd holding on.
Turd is looking for a sweep.

Twist is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Turd knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Turd manages to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mel Turd dominated that round.
That's time! Twist's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Twist blocks the body kick.
Turd scores with a punch to the head.
Twist uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Turd.
Turd connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Twist's hands.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Turd. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Turd throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Twist on the side of the head.

Turd closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Twist quickly recovers to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Turd prevents Twist from improving his position.

Turd wants to work for an arm triangle but Twist is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Twist trying to control from the bottom.
Turd winds up and cracks Twist with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Twist on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Turd looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Twist with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Twist is rocked!

Turd is working for a kimura but Twist is defending it quite comfortably.
Oh Twist is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Turd lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Twist quite badly. Twist pulls Turd in close trying to recover. Turd postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Twist on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Twist doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
