The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from West misses.
Ropuia ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Ropuia uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by West.

West closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Ropuia can't get the takedown.
A nice right hand lands inside from West.

West escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
West swings for the body but Ropuia moves out of range.
West dodges the punch combination from Ropuia.
Ropuia tries to clinch there but West circles away.

and West connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
