Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vladsislas Wshivtsev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sammy Fairfax (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 1, fighting out of New York, Vladsislas Wshivtsev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sammy Fairfax!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Jonathan Paton and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wshivtsev clinches up against the cage.

Fairfax pulls guard successfully.

Fairfax looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Fairfax keeping full guard, as Wshivtsev tries to pass.
Wshivtsev looking to sit in guard and control but Fairfax gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Fairfax lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Fairfax has eaten all the pies!

Wshivtsev has his foot on Fairfax's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fairfax works his way back into a safe position though.
Fairfax sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Fairfax stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wshivtsev swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Wshivtsev working for a triangle but Fairfax defends it easily.
Fairfax pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Wshivtsev is keeping the position for now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fairfax wanted to stand there but Wshivtsev had control of the position.
Fairfax keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Wshivtsev's head.
Fairfax stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wshivtsev swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Wshivtsev tries to close the distance and clinch but Fairfax swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Wshivtsev closes the distance and clinches up with Fairfax, looking for a takedown. Wshivtsev pushes Fairfax against the cage but Fairfax circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Wshivtsev doesn't manage to clinch there - Fairfax circles away.
Fairfax keeps the fight on the outside.

Fairfax closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Fairfax lands in his opponent's guard.

Fairfax slips nicely into half guard.
Wshivtsev is breathing heavily.
Fairfax slips a nice elbow through Wshivtsev's hands, connecting with Wshivtsev's forehead.

Wshivtsev is trying to control but can't.
The fighters are battling for position here. Wshivtsev manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Fairfax trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Wshivtsev will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Wshivtsev is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Fairfax passes Wshivtsev's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Fairfax is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Wshivtsev!
Wshivtsev sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Fairfax looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Wshivtsev looking for submissions off his back.

Wshivtsev looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Wshivtsev is trying to stand.

Fairfax passes to full mount!
Wshivtsev is looking to improve his position but Fairfax isn't that keen on the idea.
Wshivtsev slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Wshivtsev is trying to stand.

Fairfax is trying for a kimura here. Wshivtsev looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Fairfax wins by kimura!
