The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hope is trying hard to land a takedown here. Dice sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Hope shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dice but Dice pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Hope shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Dice manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Hope prevents Dice from getting back to his feet.

Hope drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hope jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Hope working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Dice looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hope is one step ahead there.
Hope wants to control from the top but Dice keeps moving.
Hope slips nicely into half guard.

Hope is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dice is just riding it out for now. Hope eventually gives up the hold.
Dice looks like he's trying to stand up.

Hope is looking for a kimura but Dice is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hope to get the leverage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hope maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Dice could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Hope has cracked it and Dice is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Hope!
