The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grimes keeps the fight on the outside.
Mills fails in his attempt to clinch.
Grimes closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mills to the mat! Mills manages to get full guard.
Mills is looking to stand up but Grimes isn't so interested in that idea.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Grimes wants to control from the top but Mills keeps moving.
Mills wants to stand up but Grimes is controlling him.
Grimes slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Mills prevents Grimes from improving position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Grimes avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Mills tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Grimes paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Mills pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Mills! Grimes is out on his feet! Mills rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Grimes is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Grimes is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
