The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz closes this distance looking for a takedown but Oswalt circles away.
Oswalt gets in close and instigates a clinch.
A bit of stalling here from Oswalt.
Oswalt jumps guard and drags Diaz to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Oswalt wants to get back to his feet but Diaz passes into half guard.
Oswalt flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Diaz wants to take a breather but Oswalt is having none of it.
Diaz is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
