Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Karl Stefaniak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ister Band (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stefaniak lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Stefaniak rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Band counters with a nice body shot.
Band has his takedown stuffed
and Stefaniak counters with a nice uppercut.
Band defending well as Stefaniak loads up on a big left hand.
Band slips a jab and a cross from Stefaniak.
Stefaniak is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Stefaniak darts in and clinches Band up against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Band's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Stefaniak lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

A nice glancing elbow lands by Stefaniak.

Stefaniak pushes Band back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Stefaniak pushes off an throws an elbow but Band leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Band has Stefaniak pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Band pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Stefaniak tumbling to the mat - Band dives into Stefaniak's guard.

Band tries to free his leg and advance position but Stefaniak is retaining full guard.

Band drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Stefaniak dives on top into guard.

Band is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Stefaniak postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Stefaniak wants to stand but Band is controlling his posture from full guard.

Stefaniak got a little sloppy there for a moment and Band has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Stefaniak has managed to get both his arms back between Band's legs - danger averted.

and Stefaniak counters with a straight right hand.
Band looks winded!
Stefaniak throws a good cross that connects.
Stefaniak throws a nice looking combination but Band bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Band gets tackled into the cage by Stefaniak. Stefaniak maintains the clinch.

Stefaniak connects with a crisp jab.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Band stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Stefaniak.

Stefaniak falls off balance throwing a combination

and Band counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Stefaniak is controlling Band's posture.
Band scoring with some ground and pound.

Band avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Band is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Stefaniak wants to stand up but Band is controlling him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Band.
Stefaniak throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Band shoots in but no luck this time.

and Stefaniak counters by clinching up.
Karl Stefaniak has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ister Band.
Stefaniak throws a head punch that misses.

Stefaniak breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Karl Stefaniak is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Stefaniak swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Band throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Stefaniak's waist but Stefaniak gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Band off to one side.

and Stefaniak counters with a two punch combo.

Stefaniak dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Band. That did some damage!
Band is breathing heavily.
Band tries for a takedown but Stefaniak sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Stefaniak lands a big head kick that sends Band tumbling to the mat! Stefaniak takes a step backwards and waves Band back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Ister Band has been cut.

Band takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Band looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Stefaniak is fending him off so far but Band persists. Nope, Stefaniak circles away and we're back to standing.
Band on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Karl Stefaniak is winning the standup battle so far.
Stefaniak looks to land a combination but Band avoids it well.
Stefaniak lands with a nice combination. Band backs away looking to recover.
Stefaniak catches Band with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Stefaniak is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Band can do to turn this around?

Stefaniak sends Band crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Stefaniak is motioning to the referee to let Band up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Band is rocked!
Stefaniak lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Band out cold! Band is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
