Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kalle Kula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pijter Diezel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kula might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bullet - Bite the Bullet. Diezel has chosen Metallica - Battery as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kalle Kula!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pijter Diezel!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Diezel. No joy for Kula on that attempt.
Kula closes this distance looking for a takedown but Diezel circles away.

Kula fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Diezel to the ground. Kula is now in Diezel's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Kula passes into half guard.

Kula looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Diezel is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kula's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kula's back!
Kula rolls, trying to escape but Diezel keeps control of the position.

Diezel seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Kula's chin but Kula turns very nicely into Diezel's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Kula.

Kula drops back looking for a leg! Diezel is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Diezel manages to kick Kula off! Kula jumps back into Diezel's guard.

Kula got a little sloppy there for a moment and Diezel has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kula has managed to get both his arms back between Diezel's legs - danger averted.

Kula is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Diezel is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Diezel has escaped and now he's on top!

Kula is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Diezel frees his head nicely. Oh but Kula has switched to an armbar! Diezel is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
