PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between tj titus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Colin Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harris is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Any Way You Want It. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Harris closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
titus struggling a bit here.
titus is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Harris lands some shots froms side control.

Harris wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by titus, who protects the arm well.
titus tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Harris wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
titus manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Harris pulls titus in close to prevent any damage.

titus stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Harris swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Harris wants to stand up but titus is controlling him.

titus misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Harris is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on titus's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Harris is looking to improve his position.

titus is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
titus is breathing heavily.
Harris is positioning himself well to prevent titus advancing to mount.

titus is working for a kimura but Harris is defending it quite comfortably.
Harris makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Harris.
Harris seems keen to control titus's posture.

Harris wriggles free and stands up.
titus gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Harris counters with a nice double leg into side control. titus won't be happy with that.
Harris wants to take a breather but titus manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Harris.
titus will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Harris drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Harris jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

titus controls Harris momentarily but Harris frees himself.
Harris works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Harris is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Harris stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

titus looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Harris!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Harris thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Harris won't allow titus to sweep him here.
