Niggwerj shoots in looking for a takedown. Straud tries to sprawl out of it but Niggwerj keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Straud manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
No joy there for Niggwerj, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Niggwerj tries to close the distance and clinch but Straud swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Niggwerj tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Straud manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Straud displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Niggwerj.
Niggwerj doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Straud closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Niggwerj! Straud dives in looking to finish! Niggwerj is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
