Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clint Wendell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Niki Virtanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wendell comes into the arena with Sit In The Mountain blaring out of the sound system. Niki Virtanen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wendell closes the distance and clinches.
Virtanen looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Wendell prevents Virtanen from breaking the clinch.
Wendell digs a right hand underneath Virtanen's ribcage. Virtanen let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Wendell wants the takedown. Virtanen is fighting it off but Wendell persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Virtanen's guard against the cage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wendell postures up and lands a big shot to Virtanen's brow.
Wendell passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Wendell breaks from Virtanen's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Virtanen is still in real trouble! Can Wendell finish him?

Virtanen takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Wendell's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
