Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Peter Worrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Peter Worrell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nathan Scott!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Scott avoids a punch combination nicely.

Worrell can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Scott controls the pace.

Scott decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Worrell will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Scott closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Scott lands in his opponent's guard.
Worrell is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Scott is controlling him.

Scott decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Worrell, up you get!
Worrell rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Scott moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
No joy there for Worrell, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Worrell takes a swing at Scott's ribcage but misses.

Scott darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Scott is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Worrell is just riding it out for now. Scott eventually gives up the hold.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Worrell closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Worrell misses with an uppercut. Scott saw that one coming.
Worrell cracks Scott with an open hand slap.
Scott closes the distance and clinches up with Worrell, looking for a takedown. Scott pushes Worrell against the cage but Worrell circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A combination from Worrell does no damage.
Worrell lands a body shot.

Scott feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Worrell ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Scott moves away.
Worrell takes a swing at Scott's ribcage but misses.

Scott closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Worrell to the mat! Worrell manages to get full guard.

Worrell wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Scott has him pressed against the cage.
Scott tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Worrell just stands there and leans against the cage.
Scott is working for takedown but Worrell is calmly controlling the position for now.
Peter Worrell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nathan Scott.

Worrell breaks from the clinch.
Worrell throws a hook to the side of Scott's head but Scott sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Scott shoots in and bounces Worrell off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Nathan Scott showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Worrell wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Worrell gets caught flat footed, as Scott shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
