Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Keyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ruben De La Vega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Keyes's entrance music is Hollywood Undead - Dead Bite. A fine choice. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Keyes. No joy for De La Vega on that attempt.

It looks like Ruben De La Vega has been cut.
De La Vega shoots in and drives through. Keyes sprawls well.

Keyes manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
De La Vega stands and throws Keyes's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Keyes is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, De La Vega asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Keyes is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked De La Vega off and has taken his back!

De La Vega breaks Keyes's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Keyes holds on and takes a little breather.

De La Vega stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Keyes swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Keyes pushes De La Vega off and scrambles back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
