These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling eachother endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
McKenzie tries to bum rush Soiler with a series of wild strikes but Soiler uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Soiler showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from McKenzie.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McKenzie looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
McKenzie throws a right and a left that both miss.

Soiler throws a series of punches but McKenzie moves out of range.
McKenzie misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
McKenzie throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Soiler.
Soiler lands with a big left! McKenzie is wobbled badly! Soiler comes in with a flurry of punches and drops McKenzie to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
