Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bud Macintosh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hitmon Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bud Macintosh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hitmon Lee!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Felipe Paraventi and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macintosh looks to throw the jab but Lee is out of range.
Lee defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Macintosh.
A jab from Lee misses.
Macintosh avoids the body shot from Lee.
Macintosh fails to land with a series of punches.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Lee, as that shot connected.
Macintosh throws an overhand right that lands on Lee's shoulder, as Lee tries to avoid the shot.
A slow jab from Macintosh misses its intended target.
Lee leaves Macintosh with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Macintosh throws a looping overhand right but Lee ducks down to avoid it.

and Lee counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Lee sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Macintosh trying to hold on to Lee's head to control him but Lee postures up.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Macintosh wants to improve his position but Lee is controlling well.

Lee takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Lee avoids the attempt from Macintosh to control.
Macintosh tries to reverse the position but Lee maintains control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Macintosh tries to hold on but Lee postures up.
Macintosh is wriggling around trying to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Bud Macintosh will probably get the nod.
That's time! Macintosh's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Lee moves out of range of the strikes.
Lee lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Macintosh fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Macintosh will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Macintosh throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Macintosh checks a leg kick.
Macintosh misses the body punch

so Lee counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Macintosh is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Hitmon Lee has got the better of the ground game so far.
Lee forces his way into half guard.
Lee slips a nice elbow through Macintosh's hands, connecting with Macintosh's forehead.
Lee looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Macintosh gets back to full guard.

Macintosh is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Lee is looking to improve his position.
Lee moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Macintosh is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Lee is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Lee has escaped and now he's on top!

Lee has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Lee lands a big shot there that rocks Macintosh but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Lee lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Macintosh hang on?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Macintosh is trying desperately to improve position.

Lee content just to control the position here.
Lee postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Macintosh looks a forlorn figure.

Macintosh trying to control from the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Macintosh gets full guard.

Macintosh working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lee doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lee manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Lee works over Macintosh with some ground and pound from guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hitmon Lee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!


Lee bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Macintosh misses with the combination.
Macintosh looks to land a combination but Lee avoids it well.
Nice sprawl there from Lee as Macintosh shoots in.

Lee connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Lee throws a leg kick which misses Macintosh's front leg but catches the back leg as Macintosh tries to avoid it.
Lee throws a solid leg kick but Macintosh takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Lee.

Lee steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Macintosh.
Macintosh shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Lee counters with a stiff right hand.
Lee fails with an attempt to clinch.
Macintosh fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bud Macintosh. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lee lands with a thumping leg kick.
Macintosh throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Lee closes the distance and clinches.

Lee tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Macintosh's elbow.
A short body shot lands from Lee as the two fighters clinch.
Macintosh fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Macintosh wants a takedown but no success here.

Lee lands an elbow inside.
Lee scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Lee lands with a left to the head.
Macintosh tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lee smiles and moves away.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lee misses with a wild combination.
Macintosh changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lee tries to avoid it but Macintosh manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lee to the ground. Lee escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Macintosh fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Macintosh blocks a head kick by Lee.
Macintosh is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Macintosh tries for a takedown but Lee sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

and Lee counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Macintosh looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Lee has picked Macintosh up and slammed him! Macintosh can't keep hold of the triangle and Lee manages to pass to side control!

Lee tries to move into full mount but can't pass Macintosh's legs.
Lee looks up at the clock and then as Macintosh takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Lee smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Lee gets to mount! Macintosh was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Lee cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Macintosh tries to hold on but Lee pushes him away.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Macintosh tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Lee blocks Macintosh's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Lee looking to control and managing it successfully.
Macintosh is looking to improve his position but Lee isn't that keen on the idea.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
BOOM! Lee connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

And that's the end of the fight!
Hitmon Lee comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Lee has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
