Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Velasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Om Oms (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Om Oms enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice jab there from Oms.

It looks like Kevin Velasquez has been cut.
Oms cracks Velasquez with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
A slow jab from Oms misses its intended target.
Velasquez swings for the body but Oms moves out of range.
Oms connects with a right hand. Velasquez shakes it off.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Velasquez slips under a jab from Oms.

Velasquez shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Oms's guard.
Oms wants to get back to his feet but Velasquez is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Velasquez stands up and waves to Oms to follow him.
Velasquez moves out of range as Oms strikes.
Oms connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
A jab lands there for Oms.
Oms connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Velasquez is rocked!

Oms drops Velasquez with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Velasquez looks back up at him and smiles so Oms waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Velasquez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Kevin Velasquez's cut is getting worse.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Oms throws a pinpoint strike between Velasquez's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Velasquez crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Oms scores a great knockout victory!
