The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Buendia. No joy for Jordan on that attempt.

Jordan is trying to drag Buendia to the mat but Buendia just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jordan drops back looking for a leg! Buendia is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Buendia manages to kick Jordan off! Jordan jumps back into Buendia's guard.

Buendia is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jordan tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jordan has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Jordan is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Buendia can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Jordan has an Americana. Buendia didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Jordan is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Jordan hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
