The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manninen bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
The Kid fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Manninen thuds his right hand into The Kid's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
The Kid fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Manninen avoids it really well and circles away.

The Kid shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
