Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kendall Williams Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sheldon Pas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams Jr comes to the cage accompanied by Higher Ground . Sheldon Pas has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Pas. No joy for Williams Jr on that attempt.
Williams Jr shoots in for a double leg but Pas sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

and Pas counters with a nice body shot.

and Pas counters with a head kick that drops Williams Jr to the mat! Williams Jr scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Pas takes the fight into the clinch.

Sheldon Pas has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Pas closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Williams Jr quickly recovers to half guard.

Pas throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Williams Jr works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Pas wants to control from the top but Williams Jr keeps moving.
