Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Duece Delta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Otto Maddox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Delta comes to the cage accompanied by the tough guy song. Maddox has chosen Institutionalized - Suicidal Tendencies as his entrance music. Duece Delta had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Otto Maddox has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maddox displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Delta.
Delta dives in and grabs Maddox's left leg, looking for a takedown. Maddox pushes down on Delta's head and hops out.
Delta tries for a takedown but Maddox sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Duece Delta. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Maddox tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Delta paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Delta feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Delta might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Maddox wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Maddox controls Delta momentarily but Delta frees himself.

Delta drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Maddox dives on top into guard.

Delta looking for a triangle here. Maddox is fighting it but it looks tight! Delta pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Maddox is tapping out - this one is all over!
