Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kris Imman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Woods (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Imman might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bezimienni - Walka. Kris Imman had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kris Imman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Carl Woods!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Imman throws a sloppy head kick and Woods moves out of range easily.
Imman tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Woods paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Imman swinging wildly here.
Imman uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Woods.
Woods misses with the combination.
A slow jab from Woods misses its intended target.
Imman tries to clinch up.
Woods misses with a straight right.
Imman is looking to clinch but Woods is avoiding it.
Imman fails with the takedown.
Woods is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Woods waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Imman.
Woods fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Imman on the side of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Woods circles away from the clinch attempt.
Carl Woods is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Imman takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Woods lands with a nice body punch.
Imman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Imman closes the distance and clinches.
Knees in the clinch landing for Imman.
Woods pushes Imman back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Woods lands with a light punch inside.


Imman is rocked!
Woods tries to break free but Imman pushes him back against the cage.
Oh Imman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Woods breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Imman wants to clinch up but Woods keeps it at a distance.
Imman seems to have got his legs back now.
Imman throws a leg kick but Woods sees it coming and moves out of range.
Imman avoids the body shot from Woods.
Imman avoids a punch combination nicely.
Woods swinging wildly here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Woods swats away the attempt to clinch by Imman.
Woods will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Woods throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Imman.
Imman shoots in but Woods avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Woods throws a shot from downtown. Imman moves away and avoids it.
Woods thows a left - swing and a miss!
Imman slips under a jab from Woods.
Imman tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Woods manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Imman avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Woods will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Woods throws a series of punches but Imman moves out of range.
Woods fails in his attempt to clinch.
Imman dives in and grabs Woods's left leg, looking for a takedown. Woods pushes down on Imman's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kris Imman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Woods tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Imman was well out of range. Poor timing from Woods.
Woods throws a jab when Imman was well out of range.
Woods throws a right and a left that Imman avoids nicely.
Woods lands a nice hook to Imman's body. Imman takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Imman ducks under a wild hook from Woods.
Imman tries to clinch there but Woods circles away.
Woods tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Imman takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Woods misses with a wild combination.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Woods throws a series of punches but Imman avoids them all with ease.
Woods clobbers Imman with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Imman fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Woods, pushing him back against the cage.
Woods tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Imman's elbow.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Imman stalling in the clinch but Woods improves position.
Woods scores with a shot to the side of Imman's head.
Imman is looking for a takedown.
A short body shot lands from Woods as the two fighters clinch.
Woods avoiding damage as Imman throws knees to the body.
Woods wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Woods breaks the clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nice jab there from Woods.
Imman throws a right and a left that Woods avoids nicely.
Woods connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Imman tumbling to the canvas! Woods pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Imman was done - good stoppage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Carl Woods!
Carl Woods seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
