Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blondi fails with the takedown

and Waleczny counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Waleczny throws a nice looking combination but Blondi bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Waleczny connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Blondi's hands.
Waleczny feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Blondis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Blondi has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Waleczny finds it's way round the side to connect with Blondi's head.
Waleczny misses with a series of wild punches.
Blondi uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Waleczny.
Blondi shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Blondi shoots in and drives through. Waleczny sprawls well.

Waleczny has closed the distance and engaged Blondi in a clinch.

Waleczny motions for Blondi to come forward. Waleczny throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Waleczny tries to close the distance and clinch up but Blondi swats him away and circles back towards the center.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Blondi. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Waleczny dips to his left and cracks Blondi with an uppercut!

Waleczny cracks Blondi with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
A swing and a miss from Waleczny.
Waleczny has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Horrible takedown by Blondi or perhaps it was just good defense by Waleczny which made him look bad.
Waleczny scoring well with a low kick there.
Waleczny scores with a one two! Blondi had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Blondi wants to clinch up but Waleczny keeps it at a distance.
Waleczny stuffs the takedown attempt from Blondi. Blondi gets slowly back to his feet.
Blondi on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
A jab lands there for Waleczny.
Waleczny will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Blondi shoots in looking for a takedown but Waleczny manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Blondi's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Waleczny is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Blondi had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Waleczny is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Blondi drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Blondi ducks right into an uppercut from Waleczny.
Waleczny swings for the body but Blondi moves out of range.

Waleczny closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Waleczny wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Blondi has him pressed against the cage.
Waleczny wants to get back to striking at distance but Blondi won't allow it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Waleczny escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Waleczny swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Blondi lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Blondi tries to clinch but Waleczny is having none of it.
Miron Waleczny is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Waleczny fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Miron Waleczny dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Blondi tries to clinch but Waleczny moves out of range.
Blondi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Waleczny swivels and escapes.
Blondi takes one to the side of the head.
Blondi fails to land the takedown.
Waleczny connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Blondi! He's out on his feet! Waleczny rushes in and drops Blondi with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
