It looks like Rex Kaizer has been cut.
Bean avoids the head kick by Kaizer.
Bean shoots in for a double leg but Kaizer sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
An inside leg kick lands from Kaizer.
Kaizer moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Bean shoots in for a takedown but Kaizer shows good takedown defense.
Kaizer throws a sloppy head kick and Bean moves out of range easily.
Kaizer misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Rex Kaizer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Bean counters with a left and a right that hurts Kaizer! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Bean jumps into full mount!
You get the feeling that Kaizer really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Bean is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Kaizer has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Kaizer!

Kaizer stands up and waves to Bean to follow him.

Kaizer feints a jab promting Bean to slip. Kaizer then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Bean slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Bean throws a left that rocks Kaizer and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Bean dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Kaizer regain composure!

That has opened up Rex Kaizer's cut even more.

Bean is trying to get an arm triangle but Kaizer is defending well.
Bean is breathing heavily.

Bean is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kaizer is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Kaizer is pushing Bean's head away, looking to escape. Bean manages to hold on to the position though.

Bean tries for a kimura but Kaizer is defending well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bean swings around for an armbar but Kaizer sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Bean's guard.

Bean has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kaizer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Bean is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Kaizer frees his head nicely. Oh but Bean has switched to an armbar! Kaizer is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
