PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zork Nemesis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nemesis comes to the cage accompanied by Zork Nemesis. On his way into the cage it seems that Zork Nemesis has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Zork Nemesis seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans checks the leg kick nicely there.
Nemesis takes a swing at Evans's ribcage but misses.
Nemesis feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Evans's calf.

enabling Evans to counter with a crisp jab.

It looks like Marcus Evans has been cut.
Evans ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nemesis moves away.
Evans darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Evans fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Nemesis looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Evans fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Nemesis is out of range.
Evans lands a nice hook to Nemesis's body. Nemesis takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Nemesis takes one to the chin there.
Nemesis throws the left hand but Evans avoids the punch easily.
Nemesis swings for the body but Evans moves out of range.

Evans bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Nemesis's head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Evans counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Evans lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Evans takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Evans jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Nemesis manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Oh Nemesis is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Evans scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Nemesis is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Evans can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
