The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Ren Mimura and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hach fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hach avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hach scores with a jab to the jaw.
Durrant avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hach misses with a wild combination.

Hach wants to improve his position but Durrant is controlling well.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Hach is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Durrant pulls his head out easily.

Durrant closes the distance and clinches up with Hach, looking for a takedown. Durrant pushes Hach against the ropes but Hach circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Hach throws a low kick, looking for Durrant's leg but Durrant calmly moves out of range.

Quinton Hach has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Durrant.

Hach breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Hach throws a hook to the side of Durrant's head but Durrant sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Hach throws a right and a left that Durrant avoids nicely.
Hach throws a series of punches but Durrant avoids them all with ease.
Hach tries to bum rush Durrant with a series of wild strikes but Durrant uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Hach lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Hach.

Durrant takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Durrant fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hach, pushing him back against the ropes.
Durrant tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hach just stands there and leans against the ropes.
Durrant has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hach avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Durrant tries to score a body lock takedown but Hach shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

It looks like David Durrant has been cut.
Hach prevents the takedown attempt.

Durrant goes for a takedown in the clinch but Hach prevents it.

An inside leg kick lands from Hach.
A jab-cross combination lands for Hach and sends Durrant crashing to the mat! Hach follows him down to the mat - Durrant regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Durrant is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hach's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hach's back!

I really don't envy Hach right now.
Hach is covering up but some of the strikes from Durrant are getting through and doing damage.
