Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tane Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Goku Sekimoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thompson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is it was over. Sekimoto has chosen Open Your Eyes as his entrance music. The key to victory for Tane Thompson has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson tries to clinch but Sekimoto is having none of it.
Thompson shoots in but no luck this time.
Thompson clinches up with Sekimoto and pushes him back against the ropes.
Thompson lands a right hand that snaps the head of Sekimoto backwards.
Thompson scores with a shoulder strike.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Sekimoto.

Sekimoto dodges an elbow strike from Thompson.

Thompson doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
With the two fighters working up against the ropes, Thompson just misses with a elbow thrown towards Sekimoto's brow.

Sekimoto tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Thompson smiles and moves away.
Thompson drives through and clinches with Sekimoto against the ropes.
Thompson blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

It looks like Goku Sekimoto has been cut.
Sekimoto tries to pull guard but Thompson won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Thompson lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Thompson using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Sekimoto has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Thompson lands a shoulder strike.
Sekimoto is rocked!

Thompson comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Sekimoto takes an elbow to the forehead.
