The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jonathon misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Jonathon fails to land the takedown.
Lagoc Ii shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Lagoc Ii was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Lagoc Ii working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Lagoc Ii wants to control but Jonathon is keeping him busy.
Jonathon tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Lagoc Ii wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Lagoc Ii seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Lagoc Ii scores with a big shot! Jonathon's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Jonathon! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
