Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Baron Barkley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blue Belt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blue Belt is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Baron Barkley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Blue Belt!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Sam Margolis and Donald Grub.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Barkley changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Belt looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Barkley tries for a kimura but Belt is defending well.
Belt can't do much from the bottom here.
Belt throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Belt manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Belt is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Barkley sees it coming and defends easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Belt is trying to work for a kimura but Barkley is defending well.

Barkley wants to control but Belt is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Barkley is looking to improve his position.
Belt seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Barkley has hold of Belt's hands but Belt slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Belt content to control rather than advance.
Barkley wants to get back to full guard.

Belt is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Belt is controlling the pace.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Belt looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Belt is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Barkley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Belt on the ground.

Belt lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Barkley hang on?

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee warns Barkley that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Belt scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Belt tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Barkley is bucking up trying to escape but Belt cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Belt fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Belt breaks from Barkley's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Barkley is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A big strike lands for Belt! That's really hurt Barkley and he's turned his back - Belt keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Belt jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Blue Belt!
Blue Belt very nearly forgot to thank Brute amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
