The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aria shoots in and drives through. Crotch sprawls well.
No luck for Aria with that takedown attempt.

Crotch has his foot on Aria's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Aria works his way back into a safe position though.

Aria has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Crotch is trying desperately to improve position.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Crotch wants to get back to full guard but Aria has mounted him!

Aria is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Crotch is surviving well by controlling Aria's body position as best he can.
Aria tries to control but Crotch wriggling away.
Crotch is trying to escape the mount but Aria keeps good control and instead manages to take Crotch's back.

Aria is trying to stick to Crotch's back but Crotch is turning into Aria. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Aria's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Crotch.
Aria controls Crotch momentarily but Crotch frees himself.
Aria bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Crotch's guard.

Crotch has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Aria should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Crotch has tightened it up now! Aria should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
