Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vasya Grinjuk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vyacheslav Levanyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vyacheslav Levanyan will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grinjuk ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Levanyan moves away.
Levanyan lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Levanyan.
Levanyan tries to clinch up but Grinjuk circles away and keeps his distance.
Grinjuk gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Levanyan.
Grinjuk tries for a takedown but Levanyan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Levanyan misses with a wild combination.
Levanyan cracks Grinjuk with a good jab.
Grinjuk shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Levanyan pinned against the cage. Levanyan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Levanyan checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Vyacheslav Levanyan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Levanyan connects with a good right hand that stumbles Grinjuk. Grinjuk circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Grinjuk takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Levanyan clinches up with Grinjuk and pushes him back against the cage.
Levanyan tries to circle away but Grinjuk has him pinned against the cage.

Levanyan wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Grinjuk has him pressed against the cage.

Levanyan throws a series of punches but Grinjuk moves out of range.

Grinjuk tries to close the distance and clinch but Levanyan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Levanyan misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Grinjuk.

Vyacheslav Levanyan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sloppy strikes from Levanyan. Those never looked like landing.
Grinjuk throws a body punch but Levanyan moves out of range.
Grinjuk drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Grinjuk tries to stand but Levanyan is controlling his head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Grinjuk decides to stand back up. Grinjuk steps back and let's Levanyan get back to his feet.
Grinjuk tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Levanyan paws at him with a jab and circles away.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Levanyan uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Grinjuk.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Grinjuk darts in and clinches Levanyan up against the cage.
Grinjuk is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Levanyan gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vasya Grinjuk. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Grinjuk wants to take the fight to the mat but Levanyan manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Levanyan's face as he tries to break the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Vasya Grinjuk will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Grinjuk tries to clinch there but Levanyan circles away.
Levanyan fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Grinjuk on the side of the head.
Levanyan is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Levanyan works over Grinjuk's head and body with a nice combination.
Levanyan throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Levanyan keeps the fight on the outside.
Levanyan looks to land a combination but Grinjuk avoids it well.
Grinjuk has a takedown stuffed.
Grinjuk shoots for a double leg takedown but Levanyan sprawls well. He's pushed Grinjuk's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Levanyan tries to clinch up.
Grinjuk shoots in looking for a takedown. Levanyan tries to sprawl out of it but Grinjuk keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Levanyan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Grinjuk closes the distance and clinches up with Levanyan, looking for a takedown. Grinjuk pushes Levanyan against the cage but Levanyan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Grinjuk gets the takedown into side control.
Grinjuk moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Grinjuk is chipping away with strikes.
Grinjuk tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

Levanyan wants to get back to his feet but Grinjuk is dominant here and he's now got Levanyan's back!

Vasya Grinjuk overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Grinjuk's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
