Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alpha Omega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hannibal King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alpha Omega!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hannibal King!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Jonathan Paton and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

King dives in and scores a takedown into Omega's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

King drops back, looking for a kneebar! Omega looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Omega looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Omega!
King tries to improve position but can't.
Omega tries to get to his feet but King is in the middle of advancing position himself and ends up with Omega in his guard.

King is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Omega defends well.
Omega would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

King has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Omega can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That's one minute gone in the round.

King has his foot on Omega's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Omega works his way back into a safe position though.
Omega looking to sit in guard and control but King gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

King has gone for a leg lock! Omega slips out almost immediately though and dives into King's guard.

King is looking for a triangle but Omega pushes his legs off easily.

King is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Omega frees his head nicely. Oh but King has switched to an armbar! Omega is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
