Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Tasalakki.
Masaru throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Masaru tries to work over Tasalakki's front leg with a kick but Tasalakki checks it.
Masaru doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Tasalakki's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Masaru connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Tasalakki scrambles back to his feet.

Tasalakki changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Masaru looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Tauno Tasalakki wasn't active enough on the ground.

Masaru feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Tasalakkis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Masaru throws a shot from downtown. Tasalakki moves away and avoids it.
Masaru stuffs the takedown attempt from Tasalakki. Tasalakki gets slowly back to his feet.

Masaru's jab looks to have found its range, popping Tasalakki under the eye.

Masaru shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Tasalakki eats them both and turns towards Masaru to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Tasalakki shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Tasalakki showed some decent athleticism there.

Tasalakki seems to be working for a kimura but Masaru defends the submission attempt.
Tasalakki wants to lay and pray for a moment but Masaru keeps working.

Tauno Tasalakki showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

That kick from Tasalakki tenderised Masaru's leg. Masaru is trying to keep his angry face on.

Well Tasalakki has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
