Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryuuji Kaname (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bubba Mc Daniel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Mc Daniel.
Mc Daniel should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Mc Daniel stuffs the takedown attempt from Kaname. Kaname gets slowly back to his feet.

Kaname drives through and clinches with Mc Daniel against the cage.

Mc Daniel has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Kaname after a bit of a struggle.

Mc Daniel closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kaname did well to prevent Mc Daniel getting side control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kaname tries to roll over but Mc Daniel keeps him under control.
Kaname has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mc Daniel is working away from the top position though.

Mc Daniel is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kaname sees it coming and defends easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Mc Daniel is looking for a kimura here.
Mc Daniel is nestled in close to Kaname, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mc Daniel throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Kaname to regain full guard.

Mc Daniel stands up over Kaname, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Kaname is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Kaname is breathing heavily.
Mc Daniel works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Kaname on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mc Daniel is trying to work for a kimura but Kaname is defending well.
Kaname is looking for a sweep. Mc Daniel is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Mc Daniel is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kaname defends it well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
