Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Cuschieri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cuschieri is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Hill's half guard.
Hill keeping hold of Cuschieri's head, controlling as best he can.
Cuschieri working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Hill has one foot on Cuschieri's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Cuschieri tries to clinch

and Hill holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Hill jumps into guard, dragging Cuschieri to the mat.

Hill is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Cuschieri defends well.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cuschieri has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Hill is proving hard to escape from.
