Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Ruden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robinson Mina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robinson Mina will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ruden shoots in and gets a takedown into Mina's guard.
Ruden pushes down on Mina's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Ruden wants to pass the guard but Mina is defending well.
Mina really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ruden. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ruden seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mina does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Ruden is stalling here. Mina is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Ruden seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Mina has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Ruden is looking to reverse the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Ruden cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Mina is rocked!
Mina takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Ruden's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
