Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Obi Wan King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timpurhkhum Chouncheun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King comes to the cage accompanied by Police On My Back. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Obi Wan King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Timpurhkhum Chouncheun!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Franklyn Lucas and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Chouncheun.

King gets the takedown into side control.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
King prevents Chouncheun from escaping the position.
King tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Chouncheun defending against the ground and pound.

King looking to control but instead Chouncheun has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
King is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
King is looking to take a break and control but Chouncheun is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Obi Wan King has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

King drives through and clinches with Chouncheun against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on King's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Oh King is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Chouncheun pushes off an throws an elbow but King leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

King seems to have got his legs back now.
King is trying to break the clinch but Chouncheun has him pressed against the cage.
King blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Chouncheun throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Chouncheun tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
King goes for a takedown in the clinch but Chouncheun prevents it.

King escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Chouncheun misses with a kick to the body.

King scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

King escapes and gets back to his feet.
A combination from King does no damage.
Chouncheun wants to clinch

and King counters by clinching up.
King really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A short uppercut from King.
Chouncheun throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Chouncheun lands an elbow inside that King shrugs off.
Chouncheun using the Thai plumb to throw knees but King has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

King jumps guard and drags Chouncheun to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Chouncheun with a nice head shot there.

King wants to sweep here but Chouncheun controlling him for the moment.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Chouncheun accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Chouncheun is looking to work some ground and pound but King has wrist control.
King has a closed guard, preventing Chouncheun from standing up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Timpurhkhum Chouncheun will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Chouncheun throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Chouncheun lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
King throws a series of punches but Chouncheun moves out of range.
Chouncheun throws a sloppy head kick and King moves out of range easily.
Chouncheun throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Chouncheun circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! King drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Chouncheun follows King to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Timpurhkhum Chouncheun!
