Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zeref Cheney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Malcolm Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace closes this distance looking for a takedown but Cheney circles away.
Wallace misses with a few strikes there.
Cheney shoots in and drives through. Wallace sprawls well.
Cheney tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Cheney is trying to control the position but Wallace postures up.
Cheney wants to sweep but no luck.

Wallace is desperately trying to improve his position but Cheney has a good base and remains in mount.
Wallace is controlling an arm, preventing Cheney from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

Cheney has control of Wallace's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Wallace regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Cheney thows a huge punch but Wallace dodges it nicely.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Cheney wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wallace keeps working.

Cheney moves into range and clinches up with Wallace.

Cheney breaks the clinch.
No luck for Cheney with that takedown attempt.
Cheney pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Wallace back to the cage. Cheney follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Cheney shoots for a double leg takedown but Wallace sprawls well. He's pushed Cheney's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Cheney tries a head kick but it misses.
Zeref Cheney is winning the standup battle so far.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Cheney drops Wallace with a straight right hand, right on the button! Cheney follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

After winning the bout, Zeref Cheney thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
