A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Ridgeon's choice of entrance music: Skulls. Lewis Ridgeon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 7 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Lewis Ridgeon!
The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from Ridgeon is predictable there
and James counters with a leg kick.
James slips under a jab from Ridgeon.
James looks to clinch
and Ridgeon counters with a three punch combo that has James backing up. James nods at Ridgeon to acknowledge the strikes.
James misses with a kick to the body.
Ridgeon takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by James.

James clinches with his opponent.

James has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ridgeon can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting James here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
