Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jade Malikai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Sahebt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malikai comes into the arena with Big in Japan - Guano Apes blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Hugh Johnson and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sahebt shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Malikai sprawls well. Malikai wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sahebt gets slowly back to his feet.
Sahebt dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Malikai throws a sloppy head kick and Sahebt moves out of range easily.
Malikai goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sahebt is defended easily by Malikai.
Malikai avoids a punch combination nicely.

Malikai sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Sahebt to the ground! Malikai dives into full mount looking to finish!

Sahebt is rocked!

It looks like James Sahebt has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sahebt is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Sahebt is squirming around, avoiding Malikai's attempts to control the action.

Malikai looking to control but Sahebt is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Malikai wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.

Sahebt holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Malikai tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Malikai has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Sahebt's body.

Jade Malikai spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
