The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Grey's waist but Grey gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Daniels off to one side.

Daniels shoots for a double leg takedown but Grey sprawls well. He's pushed Daniels's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Grey lands with an overhand left.
Grey paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Grey lands with a nice body punch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Daniels on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Daniels has his takedown stuffed
and Grey counters with a stiff right hand.

Grey throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Daniels on the side of the head.

A punch lands to the side of Daniels 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Grey lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Grey misses with a series of wild punches.

Daniels closes this distance looking for a takedown but Grey circles away.

Grey stuffs the takedown attempt from Daniels. Daniels gets slowly back to his feet.
Daniels takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Grey creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Grey breaks from the clinch.
Grey might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Grey connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Daniels walks into a stiff left hand from Grey.
Daniels takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Daniels will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Grey uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Grey sends Daniels crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Grey is motioning to the referee to let Daniels up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Daniels is rocked!
Daniels is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Grey doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Daniels crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Daniels's bad books for that mishap!
