Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Johnny Sahebt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dirt McGirt!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Winston Howard and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGirt smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Sahebt gets cracked with a nice right hand there by McGirt.
Sahebt is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Sahebt fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but McGirt avoids it really well and circles away.
Sahebt walks into a stiff left hand from McGirt.
Horrible takedown by Sahebt or perhaps it was just good defense by McGirt which made him look bad.
Sahebt throws a right hand that McGirt ducks under and follows up with a left that McGirt also avoids with ease.
McGirt connects with a jab.
Sahebt takes one on the button.
Sahebt walks into a left hand.
McGirt changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
McGirt scores with a nice strike.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
McGirt throws a nice inside leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sahebt fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johnny Sahebt. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McGirt scores with a hook to the body. Sahebt takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Sahebt shoots in for a takedown but McGirt shows good takedown defense.

McGirt lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Sahebt fails with the takedown.
McGirt moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Sahebt closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Sahebt moves forwards but McGirt connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Sahebt gets cracked there but stands up to it.
McGirt displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sahebt.
Sahebt on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Sahebt fails with a takedown attempt.
McGirt might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
McGirt ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
A punch lands to the side of Sahebt 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McGirt clobbers Sahebt with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
McGirt lands a head shot.
Sahebt shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts McGirt as he jumps to the side.
McGirt thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Sahebt if he has to take too many more of those.
Sahebt is breathing heavily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
McGirt lands a lovely overhand right.
McGirt fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Sahebt has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
McGirt scores with a jab.
McGirt lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
McGirt lands a leg kick that knocks Sahebt off balance momentarily.
McGirt bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Sahebt's head.
McGirt lands with a cross.
McGirt lands a nice looking kick to the body. Sahebt takes a step back to recover.
McGirt is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Sahebt had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Sahebt shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. McGirt defends it nicely.
McGirt lands a two punch combo.
McGirt smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Sahebt misses with a head kick.
McGirt scores with a jab to the jaw.
Sahebt shoots in looking for a takedown. McGirt tries to sprawl out of it but Sahebt keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McGirt manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Sahebt takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sahebt dives in and grabs McGirt's left leg, looking for a takedown. McGirt pushes down on Sahebt's head and hops out.
McGirt lunges at Sahebt with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Sahebt's hand.
Sahebt moves forwards but McGirt connects with a nice, crisp jab.
McGirt connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
McGirt takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
McGirt feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Sahebts jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Sahebt walks into a straight right hand from McGirt.
Sahebt on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Sahebt walks into a stiff left hand from McGirt.
Sahebt shoots in for a double leg but McGirt sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Johnny Sahebt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice shot by McGirt.
McGirt lands with a right hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sahebt shoots in but no luck this time.
McGirt lands a glancing blow to the side of Sahebt's head.
Sahebt shoots in and drives through. McGirt sprawls well.
McGirt lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

McGirt lands with an overhand left.
That kick from McGirt tenderised Sahebt's leg. Sahebt is trying to keep his angry face on.
Sahebt shoots for a takedown but McGirt saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Sahebt walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
A cross from McGirt lands.
McGirt circles away from the clinch attempt.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Sahebt. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Sahebt shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has McGirt pinned against the cage. McGirt gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
McGirt slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
McGirt scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Good exchange - McGirt coming out on top.
Sahebt will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Sahebt looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
McGirt scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
McGirt has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Decent striking displayed by McGirt there.
Nice uppercut lands for McGirt. That snapped Sahebt's head back.
McGirt connects with a jab.


Sahebt is rocked!
McGirt leaves Sahebt with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Back to the action!

McGirt lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Sahebt backwards.
McGirt unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Sahebt! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but McGirt is unloading with more strikes now! Sahebt drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dirt McGirt!
Dirt McGirt decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
