Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haze scores with a punch to the head.
Saez fails with a takedown attempt.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Saez is defended easily by Haze.
A cross from Haze lands.
Saez throws a head kick but Haze moves out of range.
Haze rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Saez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Saez is trying hard to land a takedown here. Haze sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Buddha Haze has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joaquin Saez.
Haze misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Saez.
Haze throws a right and a left that Saez avoids nicely.
Saez misses with a takedown attempt - Haze sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Haze fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Saez closes the distance and clinches up with Haze, looking for a takedown. Saez pushes Haze against the cage but Haze circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Saez shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Saez misses with an attempted mid kick.
Haze throws a series of strikes that have Saez backpedaling.
Saez takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Saez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Haze's waist but Haze gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Saez off to one side.

Saez is pushing down on Haze's leg trying to pass to half guard. Haze is fighting to maintain full guard but Saez has managed to sneak the leg through.

Saez is looking to take a break and control but Haze is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Haze is trying to stand up here but Saez is controlling him well.
Saez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Haze keeps working.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Saez frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Saez misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Haze takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
BOOM! Saez connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Haze is squirming around, avoiding Saez's attempts to control the action.
Saez has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Haze's face.
Saez wants to control the pace but Haze is squirming around nicely.

Saez is working for a guillotine from mount but Haze frees his head quite easily.
Saez is landing with some decent strikes but Haze is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Haze is bucking up trying to escape but Saez cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The referee warns Haze that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Saez throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Haze is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Saez locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Haze is forced to tap!
