The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliva misses with a head kick.
Sutherland throws a head kick that misses.

and Sutherland counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Oliva tries to score with a low kick but Sutherland moves his leg out of the way.

Sutherland connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Oliva's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Sutherland connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Oliva scrambles back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oliva dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Sutherland. That did some damage!

and Sutherland counters with a nice right hand that sends Oliva toppling to the canvas! Oliva scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Sutherland finish him?!

Oliva is breathing heavily.
Sutherland moves in close and cracks Oliva with a massive right hand! Oliva, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Sutherland!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dean Sutherland!
A relieved looking Dean Sutherland thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
