The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okam feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Riddles jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Okam throws a shot from downtown. Riddle moves away and avoids it.
Okam throws a looping overhand right but Riddle ducks down to avoid it.
Riddle scores with a one two! Okam had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

It looks like Thor Okam has been cut.
Thor Okam seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Okam misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Riddle.
Riddle needs to keep his hands up - Okam had a free shot at his head there.
Okam attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Okam throws the left hand but Riddle avoids the punch easily.

Riddle is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Okam fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Riddle manages to avoid it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Okam throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Okam looks to land a left hand but Riddle moved out of range nicely.
Riddle takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Okam scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Riddle doesn't seem bothered though.

Okam bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

and Riddle cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Okam swings for the body but Riddle moves out of range.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Riddle, right into the meat.
Okam lands a nice hook to Riddle's body. Riddle takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

and Riddle counters with a good, hard body kick but Okam shrugs it off.

Okam is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Riddle had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Riddle steps in with a hook that catches Okam right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Riddle follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Okam looks absolutely devastated.

A less than humble Justin Riddle misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
