The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Langley gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Scum.
Langley is trying hard to land a takedown here. Scum sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Langley has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Scum keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Scum stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Scum wants it to stay on the feet.

Scum slaps away a takedown attempt from Langley, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Langley closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Langley lands in his opponent's guard.
Scum is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Langley is controlling him.

Langley creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Scum sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Langley cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Langley takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
BOOM! Langley connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Langley lands a nice shot to the head.

Scum gets caught napping as Langley dives in and scores a takedown. Scum manages to retain guard.
Scum really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Langley. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Langley is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Langley is standing up over Scum. Scum looks to escape but Langley dives into side control.
The referee asks Langley politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Langley prefers to stall for the moment though.

Scum is rocked!

Langley is working to tighten is grip on Scum's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Scum has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Langley is really squeezing tight and eventually Scum passes out! Langley breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
