The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bourne closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Wallace's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Bourne controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Wallace is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Bourne throws a big right hand that misses.

Wallace had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bourne defends it easily.
Wallace is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bourne accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Wallace keeping moving, preventing Bourne from controlling successfully.

Wallace is striking from the bottom but Bourne uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.

Bourne is trying to control. Wallace wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Bourne thows a huge punch but Wallace dodges it nicely.
Bourne is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Wallace is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Bourne scores with a couple of nice shots.

Bourne slips a nice elbow through Wallace's hands, connecting with Wallace's forehead.

Bourne lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Wallace quite badly. Wallace pulls Bourne in close trying to recover. Bourne postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Wallace on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Wallace doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
