Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Convicted Killer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dick Carbone!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Reed Andrews and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Killer lands a really nice looking cross but Carbone seems unphased.
It looks like Dick Carbone has been cut.
Carbone misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Killer feints and then cracks Carbone's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Carbone down.
Carbone shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Killer as he avoids it easily.
Killer circles away from the clinch attempt.
Killer wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Carbone looks winded!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Killer connects with a solid leg kick.
Killer throws an uppercut from hell that sends Carbone clean off his feet! He's out cold! Killer stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Convicted Killer!
