Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sokolov dives in and scores a takedown into Mir's guard.
Mir is looking for a triangle but Sokolov pushes his legs off easily.
Mir working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sokolov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sokolov manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Mir had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sokolov defends it easily.
Mir looking for a guillotine here but Sokolov defends easily.
Sokolov will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Sokolov throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mir works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Sokolov is sitting in close to Mir's body. Mir has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Sokolov is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Sokolov is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Mir.
