The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weatherman keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Nich chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Nice sprawl there from Weatherman as Nich shoots in.
Weatherman scores with a one two! Nich had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Tom Nich has been cut.
Nich tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Weatherman is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Weatherman misses with a jab, cross combination.
A decent looking cross lands there for Weatherman.
Nich is rocked!
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Nich misses with a straight left.
Nich is still on wobbly legs! Can Weatherman finish him?
Nich swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nich misses with a double jab
and Weatherman counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Weatherman connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Nich tumbling to the canvas! Weatherman pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Nich was done - good stoppage!
